Innovation Day at UA

 

Innovation Day at the UA celebrates technology development and commercialization at the University of Arizona through the research achievements of students, staff and faculty. This year, the 5th annual Innovation Day at the UA will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the University of Arizona Student Union.

 

We are now accepting nominations for the 2008 Technology Innovation Awards and the Student Technology Innovation Award.

David Stone, a Ph,D. candidate in the Department of Soil, Water and Environmental Sciences. for a concrete like material that uses waste products

 

Lifetime Achievement Award:

 

Dr. John P. Schaefer, President Emeritus, for his work in steering The University of Arizona to become a top research institution in the nation

 

Special Recognition Award

 

Jim Fountain former director for the Arizona Center for Innovation for his work in the creation of Innovation Day at the UA
